What we collect: essentially nothing
Simple Product Picks is a static site. There is no login system, no comment section, no newsletter form and no advertising network; we run no analytics or tracking scripts of our own. We don't knowingly collect personal information, and we have no visitor database to lose.
The one thing the site stores is your light/dark theme preference, kept in your own browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Hosting
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may record standard technical data about requests (such as IP addresses) for security and operations under its own privacy policy; we do not receive or hold that data ourselves.
Affiliate links and cookies
Some links on this site are Amazon UK affiliate links (see the full disclosure). When you follow one, Amazon may use cookies or tracking parameters to attribute the referral to this site; that processing happens on Amazon's side and is governed by Amazon's own privacy notice. The same applies to any other external site you visit via a link from here.
